Resignation from SEC after False Statements About Crypto Actor

Two lawyers for the U.S. financial markets regulator, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), were forced to resign after a judge admitted “blatant abuse of power” in the procedure that the authority started against the crypto-currency company. The information was published by the Bloomberg agency on Monday. A federal court in Salt Lake City, Utah, believes the charges were “materially false and misleading”. In July, an SEC attorney handling the case said Digital Licensing Inc., also known as The DEBT Box, was closing its accounts and moving its funds overseas. The loss to users was potentially $49 million. The allegation prompted a judge to freeze the company’s assets.

The SEC has discredited itself a little more
