Singer Gims plans to sell 120 villas in Marrakech for 100 million

Just this Sunday, June 9, rapper Gims officially launched his 100 million euro real estate program. For his real estate development debut, the artist dreamed big with a luxury project a few kilometers from Marrakech called “Sunset Village Private Residences”. From 2026, more than a hundred luxury villas are expected to be delivered at unit prices between 500,000 euros and one million euros.

According to the Forbes website, which introduced the project, 118 luxury houses with a living area of 470 m² will be installed on a plot of almost 13 hectares, spread over both sides of Amizmiz Road. Each villa will also be entitled to a plot of 400 m² to 1200 m². Let us recall that the author of “Bella” or “Sapés comme Jam” has lived in Morocco for more than 10 years, that he has already worked with King Mohammed VI, he even declared that he became friends with him and his family. .

Artificial lagoon with an area of 3000 m²

The construction itself would be entrusted to the local company Horizon Développement, the construction site will be managed by the architect Lubna el Yazidi from the agency Line Architectes. Looking at the pictures of the project, we notice that the villas should adopt an elegant minimalist style and above all, that instead of a communal pool, there will be an artificial lagoon of 3000 m², which will look like a beach. However, each house will have its own private pool and will have 4 bedrooms, 1 downstairs and 3 upstairs. And upstairs, each villa will have a roof terrace with views of the Atlas.

The project is planned in three phases: initially with 26 plots, then the heart of the program with 72 villas and the icing on the cake: the last 20 projects that promise to be the most luxurious. The project could particularly benefit from major events that will affect Morocco in the coming years: namely the hosting of the World Cup (with Spain and Portugal) in 2030 and the high-speed train line connecting Marrakech to Casablanca.
